Description
1. L'Oiseau Mouche (The Humming Bird)
2. Goulburn Waltz
The two valses for piano solo presented here are fairly typical mid-19th century dances, as might have been played by the popular orchestras of the time. "L'Oiseau-mouche" ("The Humming bird") engages in some imitation of this animal. The "Goulburn Waltz" is dedicated to the inhabitants of this town in Australia, where Soualle played concerts to great success.
